Location
Held at the Bethlehem Centre, a sacred place nestled in healing nature. With quiet spaces, nourishing food, simple accommodations and sprawling gardens, it's the ideal setting for those seeking a quiet sojourn while being uplifted by a compassionate community.
Located on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foothills of Mt. Benson in beautiful Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island (2371 Arbot Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9R 6S9), and accessible by BC Ferries, Hullo Ferry, Nanaimo Airport, Victoria Airport, HeliJet and Harbour Air — this sanctuary in the woods by the lake inspires peace and consciousness.
Accommodations
A combination of indoor and outdoor space offers a tranquil setting, spectacular views and comfort. Tea, coffee and water are available throughout the day as we gather to learn, and you'll have time to rest and reflect on the beautiful grounds and surrounding area.
Each guest house on the property offers simple yet comfortable rooms with a "cabin by the lake" feel. Single and double occupancy are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These quaint guest rooms are private, with shared bathrooms, and every need is met — fresh linens, bath towels, a desk and chair.
Meals
Meals are crafted by an in-house Chef de Cuisine and served buffet-style, offering a communal and welcoming dining experience. We can accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options. The Chef takes pride in growing seasonally fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables on-site to create garden-to-table, nutrient-rich meals.
Every meal is provided for the duration of the weekend. Guests with specific dietary restrictions are welcome to bring supplementary food — each guest house is equipped with a mini fridge and microwave in the lounge.

Amber Cavanagh: Psychic Medium, Author
Amber is an empath, psychic medium, healer and animal communicator. With an innate ability to feel the emotions of others and communicate with the Other Side, she bridges the seen and unseen, using her gifts to help people around the world.
She is the author of At the Stroke of Eternity, a firsthand account of her journey to the Other Side during a near-death experience. Her personal and group sessions are limited, making this a rare opportunity to work with her directly.
Courtney Maier: Strategic Consciousness Coach
Courtney is a Strategic Consciousness Coach, Reiki Master and creator of the Strategic Consciousness methodology. A former VP at Canada's largest media company, she blends two decades of corporate leadership with deep training in energy healing, Human Design and intuitive coaching.
Courtney helps people understand what's blocking them, clear it, and move forward with practical tools and real clarity. Her approach is structured, compassionate and built for lasting results.
